I shared my thoughts and review about Makscara Beauty here
It’s no secret that you can walk into Sephora and an hour later walk out spending hundreds of dollars. Or at least I sure can. To have a full face make up you need the essentials:
foundation, concelear, blush, bronzer, contouring kit, lipstick, eyeshadow palette.
Of course having and needing all those items really add up. That’s not even including each brush you need to apply.
Well ladies, today is your lucky day and I’m here to show you how to save money with Maskcara.
With Maskcara Beauty one contour palette is all you need and it only costs $48. It takes care of your everyday concealer, foundation, contouring, and blush all in one compact. YES all that for $48.
So so let me break it down.
This is what I used to use as my daily makeup routine before I was introduced to Maskcara
Estee Lauder Foundation $39.50
Foundation Brush $24
Mac concealer $20
Concealer brush $22
Bobbi Brown Blush $28
blush brush $38
Mac Lipsticks: $16 going on $200 (because who just has one ha)
Kat Von D Contour Palette $46
contour brush $32
contour blending brush $22
Benefit Brow highlight & lift pencil $22
Beauty Blender $20
setting powder $22
setting spray $24
All of this costs $375!!! You would be saving $280 in makeup just by converting to using only Maskcara Beauty!
I’m all about saving lots of money!!
Of course the first time you purchase Maskcara products you would want to invest in the30 Second HAC brush. But that is just a one time purchase, it will last forever as long as you take care of it.
It is $35. But from what you can see above I was spending almost that much on just one brush. Thankfully the 30 Second HAC brush is two sided. Basically saving you money!!!
It’s obviously a no brainer that the Maskcara Beauty Perfector is less expensive than the typical beauty blender you would find at Sephora. I have tried multiple brands of beauty sponges and still find that the perfector sponge from Maskcara is hands down the best!!! And it’s cheaper, can’t go wrong there! I don’t know what it is about it, but it’s softer than any other brand, so for $13 it’s a necessity.
You may be thinking and wondering if you could use the same brushes you already have to make due. But the Maskcara team put a lot of thought and design into these brushes to work specifically with their products. If you do decide to skip out on the brushes this time, and you find your makeup not applying smoothly or you not really loving your makeup. I will say that it is 99.9% because of the brush!
So the moral here is even with the sponge and brush you are still saving money!
If you are new to Maskcara and want to try it out I would suggest in getting these three items as a basic starter kit
If you already have some Maskcara products or are just wanting to expand your makeup collection, I highly suggest these items to add on. They are my most used items besides what I shared above.
