If you aren’t already on the fanny pack or belt bag train.. you soon will be. Mark my word!
Once you see how convenient and practical they are, you can’t resist buying them all.
But, I may not be like everyone else. I prefer to call these bags by both names. Fanny Pack and the Belt Bag. WHY?
I feel like some are more classified as a fanny pack. Those types are typically on the sporty side, have a fasten buckle verses a belt buckle. They are more of the classic and original fanny pack shape and size. Whereas the new term Belt Bag is still a great way to describe the more fashion forward bags. In my opinion these are more structured bags. They have a square or rectangle shape, often times a thicker material too. These belt bags are designed to wear around your waist and looped through your belt loop on your jeans. The Fanny Pack style can be worn both around your waist and over your shoulder. I am sharing some budget friendly fanny packs too!
I hope this clears things up for you. But I am curious, what do you call these bags? Fanny Pack or Belt Bag?
