…
I never did get to wear this look to any of the shows, but I still loved how it came together. Especially after seeing how the Marigold color was everywhere, even in the streets. I swear taxi’s stole our look 😉
Since I still have a few look to share with you from Fashion Week I wanted to share a few things each time that I normally don’t take the time to write. Today I wanted to share a few fun stories that made our experience even better!
1. No one has time to eat during fashion week, but we sure made time for desserts and lots of desserts! Every night we explored a new place. But most days we didn’t have breakfast or lunch so you could say we definitely have our priorities set straight right? 🙂 A few places that we tried and loved was Milk (eat the birthday cake truffles), DO, Cookie Dough Confections (eat the chocolate chip cookie dough in a cone – also share with someone it is so rich), Magnolias (eat the banana pudding), and Levain (eat the chocolate chip cookie)
2. One thing to never forget to pack with you to Fashion Week is bandaids and lots of them, because most likely you are wearing brand new shoes for the first time. The fiirst day I wore the pink pajama style outfit with snake skin booties. My bootie started to rub on my leg and I knew it was time to pull out the bandaid. As I started to apply the bandaid, I realized I had completely rubbed a line on my leg and wore off my spray tan!!!! Can you believe that! We had a good laugh about it and I was hoping no one would notice the other days! You can totally see the lines if in this photo here
3. Sometimes after a long day of shows, a cab ride back to the hotel is so relaxing!! Maybe too relaxing. We were stuck in traffic for almost 30 minutes before we realized we were only ONE block away from our hotel, one block. ahhhhh!! Almost a little upset with ourselves because we could have just walked the one block and relaxed more comfortably in the hotel instead of a full cab of girls.
4. This was only my second time to New York, but I claim it was my first time. Mainly because the first time I went for Fashion Week in February of 2016, so you can only imagine how cold it was. I basically only saw New York through a cab window. We never did any touristy things because it was too cold. The news reported recorded breaking temperatures that New York hadn’t seen in the past 10 years. Thanks for the lovely welcome New York! So This time I knew my experience would be a lot different. We took the time to do a little bit of touristy things. We visited the Brooklyn Bridge and Top of the Rock. Both I would highly recommend if you are planning a trip here soon.
I can’t wait to plan a trip with my husband next year and be a full blown tourist and see every inch of this amazing city!

xo, Camilla
Oh yes, I totally agree with you on banana pudding from Magnolia bakery and chocolate chip cookie from Levain, they’re just out of this world. Also, so nice that this time around you got to see a little bit more of NYC.
This is a top notch outfit, your jumpsuit is wonderful!
