Rolling with my homie in our Rolling Stones tees!!
Okay.. maybe I laughed way to hard coming up with this cheesy starter.
But hey! I have been dying for him to grow into this cute tee so we could twin together!
The best part about all of these photos is that he stuck is tongue out on his own! I didn’t even have to ask him or make him do it.
He must have known 🙂
I had to keep all of those photos with him sticking his tongue out because it was so fitting for today’s look!

For today’s Mom Talk Monday I wanted to share several of your responses you sent me when I asked the question a few weeks ago about what you let your kids watch or play. Wether it be on the iPad or on the tv I loved all your responses and of course had several others asking for me to share the results so here we go!
I don’t let Edison watch movies or use the iPad often. I only choose to do it when it is necessary. For example. Out with dinner with friends, after he has already eaten his food and we still have 20 minutes or so left before finishing. I only do it when we are out with friends since Brandon and I can hustle and get in and out pretty quick. Another example is when I am out shopping and he has been a trooper the first hour or longer.
After the treats aren’t cutting it I will turn on a little show the last 20-30 minutes! The only other time I do it is at home I will turn on a movie when he is absolutely cranky and it seems like it is right before I need to make dinner. So 15 minutes of a little quiet time while preparing dinner is so amazing!!
Turning to Media and iPad Games
I know turning to media and the iPad is the best thing for toddlers and older kids which is why I don’t do it often. But I am also not opposed to doing it when needed or even for a little sanity. I also can see that by doing it more and more it can become a habit which I am already being cautious about.
Lastly, I had a couple of readers express to me that if you can avoid media and iPads all together until you child starts saying 2 word phrases is best. Once they start putting two words together (examples: more juice, sit down, come here etc.) and can say about 50-75 words is best!
