MOM TALK MONDAY: FRIENDS WITH MINI FRIENDS

Happy Mom Talk Monday today!!!
I was going through all of my drafts on WordPress and couldn’t believe I never shared there photos from our trip to San Fransisco in March. I can’t believe this was over 2 months ago. Where has the time gone!

It’s crazy what two months can do to a little child. Edison already looks so much older all while being so much more wiser. He is really starting to try to figure things out and talk a tiny tiny bit more!
It’s funny how as a mom you get so excited over the smallest things your child does. Their achievements truly make your day and you are so happy for them.

Last week I have made it a goal to read more books to Edison each night before bed. Which I feel like is the best timing for us. I would read one book to him before, but that is all he could sit still for while drinking his milk. Now he will let me read 4 or 5 books to him and I am so grateful for that. It’s such a good learning experience for him. We got some new books and as we were going over animal noises, I said to him, “What does a sheep say? Baaaa.” and he said “baa” Literally the cutest thing ever. Then I of course started shouting and saying yay! yay! yay! Probably startling him!!! But my mama heart could burst! He now has done it 6 or 7 times which is amazing. So now we will start to work on more animal noises and words too!

Today for Mom Talk Monday, I wanted to ask you guys a question!

Something that I have wanted to ask for awhile, but now feel it is appropriate since we are in this phase of Edison’s and I’s life!
Tantrums, tudes, major attitude, meltdowns, kicking and screaming on the floor etc. etc.

You as a parent of a toddler has or is still going through this. However for me, I have yet to deal with it and am not sure how to go about it.

What is the best way to reason with your child?
How do you go about disciplining your young toddler?
What do you do about meltdowns at home? Meltdowns in public?
How do you stay sane, after the 13th meltdown that day?

So many questions I need guidance for! I would love any help from you guys!

Thank you so much!

I will of course compile all of your advice and share in a later Mom Talk Monday Post because I know I am not the only one dealing with tantrums and needing questions answered.
