CONTINUING HOLIDAY TRADITIONS WITH WALMART

This Holiday Traditions with Walmart post is sponsored by Walmart

I am still in complete denial that Christmas is just a few days away, and that a new year will be here before we know it. Although, I think we can all agree we are excited to say goodbye 2020, am I right?! This past month, we have been checking items off of our family holiday tradition list, as best we can while keeping safe. To be honest, it’s honestly been really good to focus on investing time into these family traditions — in a world of chaos that we CAN’T control, being able to focus on these rituals and traditions really has brought such a sense of comfort!! Driving through neighborhoods and ooh’ing and ahh’ing over the best and brightest festive homes, watching Christmas movies at home, donating preloved toys to a shelter, all of those holiday traditions that really bring us closer and remind us that THIS is what the holidays are about — togetherness!  Today, we crossed off our last and final tradition before heading to the snow….SUGAR COOKIES!

By far, this is definitely one of favorite holiday traditions.  But baking and decorating sugar cookies just got a little more festive, cuter, AND affordable with the help of Walmart. Our ultimate goal this year was to connect as a family (2020 really made sure that happened, ha!) and make the best memories possible. And really, so many of our best memories begin in the kitchen and in our little breakfast nook. Cooking together, making crafts, completing preschool workbooks, and endless amounts of snuggles. Our focus this year?! Keep it simple. Especially this holiday season, it’s truly been about those simple, small pleasures and that has been easier to do this year more than ever. Like most of you, we aren’t leaving the house quite as often, especially now with the help of food delivery and grocery delivery — I see you Walmart+ (you can read more about our experience using Walmart+ HERE

In 2020, we really rediscovered the importance of making our home our sanctuary…and in 2021, I want to make sure that we KEEP it important and sacred. With that in mind, I always go to Walmart first.  They don’t just stop at the cute holiday decor — you can also find an endless array of items to refresh and revitalize your home all year long. I mean…who doesn’t enjoy a new throw blanket, accent pillow, new candle scent….ok, ANYTHING cozy, really…to keep that holiday delight, long after the holidays are over. Walmart is here to help keep our focus on the togetherness of family, and THAT is worth celebrating.

Creating a home that is full of holiday cheer, full of peace and comfort is easier than ever thanks to Walmart! How are you celebrating this holiday season and making it special? What rituals and traditions have you kept in place?!
