HOW TO STYLE TIE DYE FASHION

I am sure you are very aware that Tie Dye fashion is back in style. Unless, you have been hiding under a rock! Luckily for us, the tie dye we grew up wearing had more of a 70’s vibe and connotation of hippies. Thankfully today the tie dye trend is much more modern and appealing to the eyes. Today I wanted to share a few tips with you on how to style tie dye pieces and which pieces to add to your Fall wardrobe.

For me, I personally love when the tie dye colors are more neutral tones and simple vs. the bright colors. Most of my favorite online retailers are already saturated with tie dye in just about every type of clothing item imaginable. From socks, shoes, puffer jackets, pants, sweatshirts, hats, handbags and so much more. When looking for tie dye pieces, try to find pieces that generally only focus on 2-3 colors. They are simplified and more sophisticated. This is a great example of a simplified tie dye piece.

A great thing to remember about wearing a tie dye is that in most cases the piece has it’s own individuality. It’s so hard to recreate the exact same tie dye piece, (and you may know this if you have ever made your own tie dye shirt growing up) which is why you probably have a one-of-a-kind, tie dye top.

One of my favorite ways to wear tie dye is with a great pair of denim jeans. (This AGOLDE pair being my newest go-to obsession!) You can never go wrong with a more bold top, as long as you keep everything else  you are wearing simple. Let the tie dye be the main focus! In today’s case, my tie dye piece is a midi skit. I chose to pair it with a simple black bodysuit to keep up with the neutral theme happening, and to make the skirt stand out on it’s own. I have also worn it with a chunky white sweater and my Gucci Princetown loafers and love the look just as much.
