In honor of my sweet little Lu Bear turning 6 months old today I wanted to share a the best Gifts Ideas for babies that are 6-12 months old!
Honestly thought, I am in major denial that my baby is already 6 months!!! Like WHAT???
And this photo of her, I die!
As part of todays guide: gifts for babies, I shared a big round up of several of the toys and activities I will be wrapping up and giving to Lucy for Christmas this year. Several of these toys were toys I had gotten for Edison when he was around this age and so many of them were great learning toys. Helped with his development and learning as well as thought fine motor skills and grip, walking and so much more.
I know that babies don’t really need much for Christmas, which is why I only bought a few toys to throw under the tree and for “Santa” to bring. I also knew it would be so fun for Edison to help Lucy open her presents this year. I also bought a lot of clothes and pajamas for Lucy since they are something she actually needs! Other great ideas are bowls, spoons, and sippy cups that you will start using more often as they start to eat.

Gift Ideas for Babies
1 // Buffalo Set Pajamas – Growing up we always got pajamas on Christmas from my grandma. I think it is such a fun tradition to pass down to my children. So new pajamas it is!
2 // Move and Crawl Ball – This ball is self motorized and designed to roll around to encourage your baby to chase it!
3 // Poppy Lane Co. Bracelet – We already have a few of these and I ordered more for Lucy, including a Baltic Amber Bracelet to help with teething. Another fun thing is you can buy adult size bracelets so you can match you mini!
4 // Rainforest Jumperoo – Once they are old enough, this is such a fun place to put your baby where you don’t feel too guilty leaving them to get a few things done around the house. They are entertaining theirselves while working on fine motor skills.
5 // Skip Hop Interactive Activity Table – We got this table for Lucy to give to her for Christmas. I can’t wait for her to start using it.
6 // Sit to Stand Learning Walker – We had one of these for Edison, actually we still do, it just got left out in the rain and the noise no longer works. But it was such a fun activity he used when he was 8-12 months. In fact, he still pulls it out of storage often, at age 3, to run around with it!
7 // Key Toy – A great toy you can keep in your diaper bag and pull out when your baby starts to get fussy in the car, or carseat while out an about. It makes noise and jingles.
8 // Rainbow Set Pajamas – Another darling set of pajamas for little girls!
9 // Banana Teether Toy – Give us all the teething toys, am I right! This stage is super rough on our babies as they are constantly teething.
10 // Dimpl Baby Popper Toy – We just got this for Lucy this year too. She probably won’t get too much use out of it until 9-12 months, but I thought it was a great toy that will keep them entertained for several minutes.
11 // V Tech Baby Phone – Always a classic toy to have. Either a remote or phone. We had both with Edison and he loved the music they play.
12 // Developmental Bumpy Ball – Another toy we got for Lucy this year. I love that it looks easy to grasp as she is still learning and getting a tighter grip on things.
13 // Sesame Street Mini Board Books – These are the funnest books. We a set super similar to this, they are perfect for their little hands and great for when they first learn to talk.
14 // Windup Penguin Bath Toy – Great for all ages. Edison who is 3 still loves this. But a baby 6-12 months will love watching you wind it up and see it swimming in the water.
15 // Baby Walker and Activity Tray – I love this toy, and love when they finally figure it out! It is so hilarious. At first they don’t even realize it’s them making it move. Once they figure it out, watch out!!
16 // Ring Stacker – Such a great fine motor and developmental toy.
17 // Activity Cube – I want to get this for Lucy. I love that there is so much activity it one cube. Great sitting activity.
18 // Tubby Todd Lotion and Shampoo – Our very favorite shampoo and conditioner brands.
19 // Freshly Picked Moccasins – So many adorable options to choose from. Great for boys and girls and they make for the best walking shoe!
20 // Winkle Rattle Toy – Got this for Lucy too for Christmas. It was rated really well on Amazon, and I thought I would give it a try. I can’t wait to give it to her.
