color block scarf: Chicwish | white sweater: similar here and here | denim: Topshop | booties: Donald J. Pliner (sold out) similar here and here | handbag: Chloe | watch: Rumbatime

I love a fun pop of color and I feel that Chicwish nailed it with this gorgeous color blocking scarf. It inspired me to wear a mustard colored leather jacket with burgundy mules yesterday. I’ll be sharing a sneak peek of that look on my Instagram soon.
I just love how chunky and oversized this scarf is for many reasons, but especially here in Sunny California. A lot of times it isn’t cold enough to need a huge coat or heavy jacket. Something like this scarf is perfect. You can wear it as a typical scarf, or unfold it and treat it more like a shawl to keep warm in the early evenings before the temperatures do drop. Winning in my book.

Of course this color block scarf would be the perfect add to any warm winter look as well, It brightens your wardrobe and the best part is it is under $30. So it is impossible to pass it up.
