I just can’t believe we are half way there people. HALF WAY DONE!!!!
As excited as I get each day, I also get a little terrified thinking I am in no way prepared for this. I still have no nursery set up, books to get caught up on, and so so so much more!
However, I still can’t find anything to complain about this pregnancy. Since the last time I did an update I have now been able to eat a lot more foods and well of course just regain an appetite as well smell food with out having to run away! Although I never did actually throw up (happy dance) I still did feel icky most days. I am so grateful that is all over now!
The last few weeks have been really great. I have had a lot more energy, and still try to time to get enough sleep. It has been a little challenging with so many visitors and always being on the go. But that hasn’t stopped me. I usually just crash once I get home.
I have found that the day after the visitors have left I find myself lounging around most of the day. I literally can’t get myself out of bed, off the couch, even off the floor. Anything to just lay down!!!
I have been waking up a lot earlier than I am used to, which I guess is a good thing to start prepping my body for those early morning that I soon will always have. However everyone keeps telling me, make sure to get enough sleep while you can. So I can’t help but try to force myself back to sleep when I wake up at 6:30-7 am. I mostly blame it on my husband. His alarm is set around that time, but I am the only one who wakes up to it!! ha he just dozes right back to sleep!!
The crazy dreams are getting real people!! I can’t remember most of them, but I do wake up thinking, That was a crazy one!! My first gender dream just happened to be me having a boy. I had gone into a very early labor, but still had a healthy baby. For some reason we didn’t know the gender yet and when they told me I was having a boy I was only sad for the reason that I only had girl names I liked… haha oops!!
The next week I had a dream I was having a girl and then a few days later it was back to having a boy again!! I should have just listened to these dreams 🙂
I first started feeling the baby around 17 1/2 weeks! At first I wasn’t sure if that is what I was feeling so I sort of ignored it. But the more it kept happening, and especially around the same area I started to get a lot more excited about those little bubble/flutters I was feeling! I mostly feel it when I am driving in the car, probably because I have nothing else to focus on and I can really enjoy them! Or in the evenings when I am laying down on the couch! It is so much fun to be able to feel this little babe!
Well now a quick little bit about his maternity/non maternity outfit. I found this dress at Topshop and at first was a little worried how it would look, but I just fell in love with it. Maybe, because it was the first time I could actually embrace the bump and the length of the dress is beyond perfect. Right after I purchased this I had gone into Urban Outfitters and basically robbed this bomber off the mannequin because I had to have it!! I love how thin the fabric is, making it perfect for those summer nights that cool down a little. I have already worn this jacket a few different times with jeans and other dresses. It is worth every penny!
You’re such an elegant, stylish and beautiful mommy! I’m loving your maternity outfits, they’re rocking big time!
