…

Oh dear!!
My apologies about not having a baby registry wish list up for you the last couple of weeks. I just was busy with a few other campaigns and between moving and getting all unpacked I found myself putting a few other things first!
But, we only have a month and a half left of these wish lists, so I hope I get everything I want to covered, especially before the little man arrives.
Here is what you can expect for the future in these Baby Registry Wish Lists.
A talk about what I will be packing in my hospital bag.
Favorite baby clothes and where I find them
Safety Must Haves
Maternity Clothing
Baby Storage and Organization
Of course, I will then, after the baby arrives, do a few posts that explain the things I felt were a must and those items that aren’t worth splurging on!
I would love to know what you would like to see, if you have anything leave me a comment below.

But in the meantime, let’s focus today on all the necessities for surviving the first few months of a newborn!

Diaper Bag
I am loving both of these two diaper bags, I actually have both of them too. I love the chicness of the Henri Bendel and plan on using that as my go home bag from the hospital, the fact that it stands on it’s own and I can wear it as a cross body or over my shoulder is really important to me the first couple of weeks. I know at least one arm will be holding the baby, so I love that I have my other arm able to grab anything I need. Where as, if I were to use a backpack the first couple of weeks I would feel overwhelmed having to set the baby down in order to take off the backpack just to get inside. BUT that doesn’t mean I won’t love my JuJuBe. I plan on using this as soon as I get the hang of having a new baby. It will be perfect for family outings and of course shopping dates. This is when I Love the idea of a backpack and can’t wait to use this JuJuBe.

Pacifiers
I have both of these pacifiers as well and love both of them so much. Love the Wubbanub because it has the weight of the stuffed animal to help keep the pacifier in the little babes mouth. The Natursutton Binky is just hands down adorable, so of course I had to have it. It is a great binky for representing the nipple, making the transition a lot easier for the little babe.

Bottles
I have a few different brands of bottles, but I have been overall impressed with the Comotomo bottles. I love that they are squeezable bottles with a silicone nipple that mimics breastfeeding.
Of course at the end of the day, it isn’t what I like, but what the baby likes. So having a couple different options is great. I also like these ones as well.

Changing Pad
This may not be a necessity to some people, but for me I love the idea of having a designated area to change baby’s diaper. Having all the diapers, wipes, creams, and anything else needed all in one place. Plus a nice padded area to lay the baby down. I have this exact one from Nook and am so far very impressed with it.

Velcro Swaddle
I have a few different brands of velcro swaddles but so far I am loving the Nuroo and Ollie Baby.
The Nuroo is SO soft and has such cute little prints and patterns. I also love that they will fit your baby at any age at least for the first year. They have a small infant pocket so the legs are still secured. The Ollie baby is great as well because it is an open swaddle, meaning the feet can be free or you can choose to swaddle them, plus the colors are gorgeous.

Muslin Swaddle
Of course this is a must. You can never have enough too!
I think I have about 14 swaddles and feel like it’s not enough. 🙂 You would be well off if you have at least 5-7 swaddles. Swaddles are one item that you can leave all around the house, use as a burp cloth if one isn’t nearby, keep a couple in your diaper bag. So make sure to invest in a few of these. I have both of these fromOoby Dooby Baby and Bebe Au Lait and love them both.

Dock A Tot
This is one item that I feel is a must! I can’t wait to use mine. I love that theDock A Tot serves many purposes. I will be using it as a place to lay my baby on the sofa, bed or anywhere I don’t want the baby to roll. I can also use it each night in my HALO bassinet, it fits perfectly! I also love that I can take this on vacation instead of a travel crib, at least for the first little while while they are small and use it as a co-sleeper.

Onesies
Stock up on these bad boys. I know that is all my baby will be living in for the first few months of his life. So having enough so you don’t have to do laundry every second will help you stay sane. Of course remembering to always have extra in the diaper bag for those darn blow outs 🙂
I love these onesies because they have the little mittens sown in.

Owlet Baby Monitor
Another Must!! I even have a promo code for you to use here.  Saving you $20!!!
Since I haven’t used one of these personally I can’t give you the best review, but from what I have heard this is a life saver. Allowing you to sleep soundly at night knowing your baby is breathing.

Heavy Cozy Blanket
I will be having a Fall/Winter baby and I know that I will love having a cozy blanket to swaddle him up on those chilly outings.
I personally love this one here from Saranoni. Plus I love this one, pictured above as a security blanket for my baby once he is a little older.

Nose Frida
As gross as it is… this little product is a life saver. It get’s all those little boogies that the snot sucker can’t get!
I most likely will have my husband do it the first couple of times.. eeek!!!

Frida Baby Thermometer
You’ll be thankful to have a baby thermometer at your house before you need one. That way you don’t have to make a midnight run to the store, just to see if you baby has a fever or is sick.

 Covered Goods
A nursing cover and carseat cover all in one! I actually have two of them. One to use as a carseat cover and the other to keep in my diaper bag to nurse! Of course, you can get by with using one, but I just felt I wanted two!

Solly Baby Wrap
Another Must have!!! I can’t wait to start using one of these! I love that you can use this until your baby is big enough to use the Ergo Baby.
The fact that you can get things done around the house, or go grocery shopping with out your HUGE carseat taking up the entire cart has be all sorts of convinced!

Bibs and Burp Clothes
Of course we all know the reason we need these items!

Diapers and Wipes
again.. for obvious reasons! 🙂
I plan on using the Huggies Little Snuggles as of now!

I still wanted to include a few more necessities that I didn’t include in the photo above but still feel like they are must haves.
These are the exact ones that I have as well
Crib
Stroller
Carseat

The Jujube BFF is convertible too so it can be used on the shoulder or cross body as well with the included messenger strap. I think it’s important that people know that it isn’t only a backpack type bag. I own and love the versatility of this bag, not to mention it’s beauty.

      Hi Kim,

Yes, you are absolutely right! I do love that it converts into a cross body as well! One bag that does so much! I love it 🙂

The diaper changing pad is great for baths when they’re really small too. Since you’re not supposed to get then wet so their umbellical cord dries this really helped us. We would give Maverick little wet towel baths and since the diaper pad was water resistent it would be ok if we got too much water there. We should just put one of those swaddle blankets down on the pad, and go to town on our bathroom counter. It was great. You’ll do great!!

These are the same outfits that I have already for my baby and it is really going to make him look adorable. The kids fashion is being getting changed every day so we should get ready.
