ACCOMPLISH YOUR GOALS: THE 90 DAY CHALLENGE

Can you even believe the end of 2019 is already here??
Before we know it, the holidays are going to be here, and we will be ringing 2020 in! Crazy to even think about it being a new year.
Each day, I keep reminding Edison and counting down our the days with the big events taking place over the next few months which basically is a countdown to the year 2020. First Halloween, our annual Vegas trip, Edison’s 3rd Birthday, Thanksgiving, our family vacation, then flying home for Christmas. I will basically blink and it will be January 1st 2020!

If you follow Rachel Hollis, then you have probably heard of her Last 90 Day Challenge…a challenge to end the new year as your strongest, best self! Today I want to challenge you to accomplish your goals with the 90 day challenge.

Are you on board? Let’s end the new year stronger than we even started it!

This is a great time to revisit the goals you made earlier this year in January, or even the goals you made a month ago. Check which goals you still need to start or accomplish? I will be sharing which goals I will be focusing on for the next 90 days below.

What is one goal you can achieve by the end of 2019? I would love to know what you are setting out to do – tag me on Instagram or Facebook when you share what goals you’re working toward!

MY 90 DAY CHALLENGE GOALS TO ACCOMPLISH

I have decided that I am taking these last 90 days to accomplish a few things

I want to keep a better morning routine: Stay off of my phone, get a workout in, and eat! I have been implementing this small goal already and LOVE not getting on my phone first thing in the mornings. It is so refreshing to just get up and start the day in a good mood and having a clear mindset!

I want to read TWO books on my list (you can check out my list here) – I did so good at reading a few books (really listened!), earlier this year. But since having Lucy things really fell apart! But some of the books I did read were, Girl Wash your Face by Rachel Hollis, Present over Perfect by Shauna Niequist , and The Whole-Brain Child by Daniel J. Siegel. Really hoping I can pick things back up and read 2 new ones. Do you have any suggestions?

I want to redesign Edison’s room into a big boy room – I have already began the hunt for beds, rugs, dressers etc. I need to get Edison out of his crib (yes, he is in his crib still! Can you believe it!!) and prep him before Lucy turns 6 months old when I will move her to her own room and start the sleep training process. I will be sharing a little sneak peek of Edison’s big boy room progress on my stories, so be sure to check it often!

I’ll keep you updated on all of these! So excited to keep working on these goals

I love the morning routine goal! One goal I have for myself is a better nighttime and morning routine. To help I will begin to sleep with my phone in a separate room. Time to go back to an old school alarm clock. Studies have shown that sleeping in the same room with your phone you subconsciously know it is there and are constantly distracted by it. I would love to spend one hour before bed disconnected from my phone and all screens. I believe it will help me read more, relax, practice mindfulness, and connect with my husband better. Waking up with it in a separate room will also prevent me from being on it right away.
Tips for helping you read more, I love that you read to (seemingly) learn things.. But pick up a novel to read for entertainment! A good fiction book. Sometimes I find myself in a rut with reading if I feel to overwhelmed with the information I am reading or like I have to pay attention so closely.
How do you track your goals and Hold yourself accountable? Do you believe in self rewarding?
