It’s time to reveal a little peek into baby girl’s nursery!
It has been so much fun creating a space for a little girl this time. Don’t get me wrong, designing a space for Edison was so special to me, especially since he was my first! But I’ll admit the fun colors you can do for a girls nursery has been so much fun! I have gone with a blush and orangey tone space for little lady and I have loved how it has turned out.
You’ll notice that I am only sharing a couple of corners of baby girl’s nursery and that there isn’t even a crib just yet. Currently this room is being used as our guest bedroom and will remain that way for the next 6 months, or at least I keep telling myself that! I loving having my babies sleep in the same room as me in a bassinet for the first 6 months of their life. Once they turn 6 months, I feel comfortable enough with their age to begin sleep training. Right now, having a shared space just makes the most sense! Especially since we will be having lots of visitors the first few weeks to help out once the baby does arrive.
Since the space isn’t 100% completed, I still wanted to share below more inspiration and items that I have either bought or hope to buy soon to complete the room.
I had searched and searched for the perfect dresser to add to the nursery and I kept coming back to this one from Room & Board. I loved the light Oak color, the offset sized drawers, and the simpleness of the pulls! I feel it really completes the space.
The draws are such a great size and open and close smoothly.
ITEMS I HOPE TO ADD TO THE NURSRY SOON
