What an experience!!! It will always be a trip to remember from dealing with the "so called" worst weather New York has experienced in the last 100 years. Even though we hit high winds, snow, and pouring rain I still managed to fall in love with New York and can't wait to head back there in September. Hopefully for a more enjoyable time, weather wise :)
To be honest I didn't quite know what to expect going for my first time, but between the shows, amazing venues, seeing the new trends for the first time and so much more I am eager to go every year now. Maybe just not to February one.. because well, it's too dang cold!!!
I have so many favorite shows that we attended, but one of my very favorites was the Leanne Marshall show. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was sitting front row, but she showcased some amazing dresses. The make up and hair on the models were fantastic!
The Opening Ceremony Show just happened to be the most unique show. It was still amazing to see, but had some different vibes going on!!
Maybe I'm just a little star struck, but it was so amazing to see the faces of so many amazing bloggers who I have followed for years. To finally see them in person! Of course the few celebrities I saw too sure got lots of stares from me :)
I couldn't have done with trip with out the help of the squad I had with me! Those girls sure showed me around the city and how to navigate it! Between me messing up our Urber at least 3 times, I decided to hand that torch over to Jessa and Amanda who were pros by the end of it! It sure made for a lot of laughs though. :)
Due to the cold and lack of time I wasn't really able to explore New York, sadly. We attempted heading out a few of the mornings but couldn't bare the cold!! The one day we planned on visiting the Top of the Rock we experienced heavy fog. Bummer.
I plan on spending a few extra days in September, maybe have the husband meet me after to get our own exploring in!!
Attending the Shopstyle Social House Event.
